The commission for the investigation of Abuse of Authority team arrested the acting chief of Simara Land Revenue Office with bribe of Rs 600,000 from Jitpursimara sub-metropolis in Bara on Saturday. The arrested has been identified as manak Kumar Khanal. The CIAA team deplyoyed from Kathmandu held non-gazatted offcer Khanal red-handed while receiving the bribe amount from service-seeker for settling the land registration from Jargha Hotel of the sub-metropolis on Friday night. Lekhapadi entrepreneurs' Badri Badal was also arrested for the same.
