Tribhuvan University has postponed all its scheduled examinations until further notice.
The examinations of TU affiliated colleges that were running and those that were about to be held are all stalled owing to the second wave of coronavirus infections.
Various districts, including three in Kathmandu valley, have decided to impose prohibitory order or are in the process to do so. Hence, it may not be possible to hold examinations, the notice issued by the University said.
Earlier, it had decided to carry on with Monday's examination despite recommendations from Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre.
